As part of my Graduation for my Bachelor Creative Technology, I designed a feedback system for EatMyRide, that allows for real-time in-app user feedback. The feedback can be analysed by EatMyRide in a specially designed dashboard, to put the user at the centre of design.

Before, development was based on guesses and limited research. Developing new features takes time and is costly when gotten wrong, thus user validation is needed to help develop the application.
To answer this question, I sent out a survey to novice app users to gather information on their experience and willingness to give feedback. Learning about their backgrounds helped to determine a target audience for the feedback system.
Next to user research, literature research on feedback led to five key principles to follow when dealing with feedback. These formed the basis for the development of the system.
To get a better understanding of real users, new users were found through the local ice skating and triathlon associations. Participants were asked to join an 8-day study to get insights on their routines as athletes.
Using all knowledge, multiple concepts were sketched out and a selection was visualised digitally. Four of these concepts were visualised using Figma, including the envisioned interaction. Finally the Figma prototype led to an interactive mobile application built with React Native.
